We went to the pediatrician today for Hannah's one month appointment. She has grown so fast! She has already gained nearly 2 pounds and 2 1/2 inches!!

Darn! I thought I had gotten lucky
Poor Hannah, she has colic. I thought she was going to be different than Anika was, but now she cries so much. I see that she is in pain and I feel badly for her, but it is so frustrating that she screams anytime she is not sleeping unless I am holding or feeding her. Sometimes I can get her to sleep if I swaddle her tightly or bounce her in my arms a bit, but she is becoming quite difficult to soothe. Oh well--only 2 more months of this.

Hannah is 3 weeks old!
Taking pictures of this angelic little girl is so fun! She is still fairly mild tempered, but she has begun to cry more frequently (and with more gusto). She would much rather sleep while being held than alone.

Hannah is Already 2 Weeks Old!
I can hardly believe it! It is sad how fast time flies. I wish she could stay this little forever, but I know that things just keep getting more fun as they get older.
Anika and Mommy make a Cake
Anika has been feeling the effects of a new baby in the house and she has started to get frustrated that mommy can't pick her up or play with her the way we used to. Her tantrums have been increasing and I wanted to do something with her that she is big enough to do and Hannah isn't--so we made cake! Anika's favorite part is licking the beaters :).

Anika Is Such A Good Big Sister!
Anika was so happy to meet her new little sister for the first time. She has been such a big help to mommy. She feeds Hannah, gives her kisses, gets her diapers and asks to hold her several times a day. We are so proud of her!
Here She Is!
Hannah Melisa Gray was born on April 23, 2008 at 12:54 in the afternoon via cesarean section. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. So far, she is a very mild tempered baby and cries only when she is hungry or cold.
